Baked Chicken Italian Style


2 (2-3 lb) broilers, cut into quarters

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

3/4 cup melted butter

1/2 tsp garlic powder

2 cups bread crumbs

3/4 cups grated parmesan cheese

3 cups parsley flakes

1/2 tsp oregano

1/4 tsp thyme

1/4 tsp savory


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Rub chicken pieces with salt and pepper and set aside.

Stir garlic powder into melted butter and set aside.

Mix bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, paardley, oregano, thyme, and savory until thoroughly blended.

Brush each piece of chicken with butter mixture and dip into bread crumb mixture.

Place chicken in a baking pan and bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown,

Baked Chicken Spanish Style


1 (5 lb) stewing chicken, cut into serving size pieces

1/4 cup butter

3 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced

1 large onion, chopped

1 green papper, chopped

1/4 tsp oregano

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pspper

1 tsp seasoning salt

1 1/2 cups uncooked rice

2 1/2 cups tomato juice

1 (2 oz) cand black olives, chopped

1 pkg frozen green peas, thawed


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Melt butter in large fry pan and saute chicken until all sides are evenly browned.

Pour off remaining butter and st aside.

Add tomatoes, onion, green pepper, oregano, cloves, salt, pepper, and seasoning salt. 

Simmer on medium low heat for 8 minutes, turning each piece of chicken once during this time.

Place chicken and vegetables into a casserole dish.

Return the butter to the fry pan and brown the uncooked rice.

Add tomato juice and olives.  Stir well and pour over chicken.

Bake in oven for 1 hour.

Pour peas over top and bake for an additional 1/2 hour.

Baked Chicken French Style


1 whole chicken, cut into serviing size pieces

1/4 cup of flour

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp seasoned salt

1/4 tsp parsley

1/4 cup chopped onion

1/4 tsp poultry seasoning

1 clove garlic

2 tbsp butter

1 (10 1/2 oz) cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup canned tomatoes


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix flour with garlic powder, parsely and seasoned salt and dust chicken pieces with mixture.

Brown chicken , onion, poultry seasoning, and garlic in butter.

Place in casserole dish prepared with nonstick cooking spray.

Add the remaining ingredients and cover.

Bake for 30 minutes covered and 30 minutes uncovered.

Make sure you stie the ingredients occassionally.
