Iowa Blueberry Crisp

  • 8 Cups Fresh Blueberries
  • 2 Teaspoons Lemon Zest
  • 1 Tablespoon Orange Zest
  • 2 Teaspoons Minced Fresh Thyme
  • 2 Teaspoons Minced Fresh Rosemary
  • 2 Sticks Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon Sugar
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 2 Cups Organic Rolled Oats


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly butter the 9x13 baking dish to prevent sticking. In a large bowl mix together Blueberries, Herbs, Sugar, 2 Teaspoons Orange Zest and 1 Teaspoon Lemon Zest. Once mixed well pour into baking dish.
  2. Using your fingers mix together Butter, Flour, Sugar and remainder of the Orange and Lemon Zests. Should resemble crumbs afterwards. Sprinkle the crumbs over your Blueberries and bake for approximately 45 minutes to an Hour. Allow to cool and serve with Ice cream and Enjoy! Yum! :)
