It's Pumpkin Spice Season Again!

The warm spice is back again and it's ready to make an impact in your life.

Surprisingly though, it's not just good for imparting that classic feel of fall, but actually has some health benefits for those who want an excuse to eat more pumpkin spice.

Pumpkin, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon are some of the few spices that make up "pumpkin spice". Each spice holds its own unique properties and surprisingly boosts your way to a healthy heart. Some examples:

  • Pumpkin: High in Vitamin A
  • Ginger: Supports the immune system and especially helps fight the flu now that we're headed into flu season
  • Nutmeg: Detoxification agents
  • Cinnamon: Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant rich and high in manganese
