It's not just about the kitchenware

Updated on June 14, 2016

Tupperware...a good investment

Just what is Tupperware, you say? Nowadays, Tupperware is more than just kitchenware. It’s about quality, good investments, saving time in the kitchen, organization, friendships and so much more. Tupperware has been around for over 50 years now and it’s only getting better.

Quality and good investment go hand in hand. Some people might think Tupperware plastic seems a little pricey. But, consider this, how long do manufactured items, plastic or otherwise, last these days? Tupperware is made of good quality plastic that lasts for years, even after multiple uses in the microwave and getting washed thousands of times in a dishwasher. My mother has Tupperware bowls, pitchers and salt and pepper shakers I remember using as a kid 40 years ago, at least, and she is still using those same items today. That’s what I would call quality and a good investment.

Saving time in the kitchen is another reason to consider Tupperware. Now I know that some folks love to do nothing more than cook. They love working and creating dishes, they love the process, but most of all they love the results, too. Microwaves were created to save time in the kitchen. There are two disadvantages of using microwave ovens. One, the dishes have to be microwave safe. This may even require using a different container if the food has been in the freezer. Second, and the most problematic in my mind, is you can only cook one item at a time. Tupperware is always finding new ways to do things in the kitchen. Tupperware designers have created products that not only will last for years with microwave use, but will allow you to cook multiple items at one time. How great is that?

Organization is always important in the kitchen, especially in your fridge. The problem is finding containers that seal properly keeping food fresh and also finding containers that will fit neatly and not clutter your fridge. Let’s face it, the crisper drawers in refrigerators, while a good idea at the time, don’t keep fruits and veggies fresh very long. You end up going to the market more often than you need to in order to replace those items. Once again, Tupperware designers come to the rescue. They have created containers of different sizes that neatly stack in your fridge and have a vent system that keeps fruits and veggies fresher in the fridge 2 to 3 times longer. Now you can reorganize your fridge and put things like blocks of cheese and other smaller items in those crisper drawers.

You may ask how friendships fit into the scheme of Tupperware products. Tupperware consultants have a passion for helping people. They want to help you save time and money in your kitchen by providing you with these products, thereby providing you more time to spend with family and doing more of the things you love to do. Tupperware is one of the few businesses left that still do in-home parties. Parties are a time for friends to get together and maybe learn some things they didn’t know before. You can exchange recipes, cooking tips, etc., the possibilities are limitless. There is even the potential to make new friends. Find your local Tupperware consultant and see for yourself.
