  • 6 Whole Crabs, Cleaned & Halved
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Green Bell Pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup Celery, chopped
  • 3/4 cup Green Onions, chopped
  • 1/3 cup Parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 Gallon Water
  • 1/2 tsp. Creole Seasoning
  • Salt, to taste

  • 6 drops Liquid Crab Boil
  • 1 slice Lemon
  • Cooked Rice
  • 1 lb. Shrimp, optional
  • 1/2 lb. Smoked Sausage, optional
  1. Add butter and flour to 1 large pot. Brown flour to create a roux.
  2. Add 3 drops of Liquid crab boil to the roux and stir in onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in 1/2 a gallon of water *shrimp stock would be a great substitution*, lemon, creole seasoning, salt and pepper and bring to a boil.
  4. Lower heat to medium and add 1/2 lb. of smoked sausage. Cook for 20 minutes. If stock is not as thick as you'd like it, add more flour and adjust seasonings to taste.
