What is Tuna ?

Tuna, a saltwater finfish, is the most important commercial fish.Canned Tuna was first produced in 1903, quickly becoming popular.Tuna is canned in oil, in brine, in water or various sauces.Tuna is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids and also a good source of protein.

Yields: Serves 1 person

Ingredients

  • 1 can white tuna, drained and flaked
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
  • 50 grams sweet corn
  • 1/5 tablespoon onion flakes, dried minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 lemon, squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley

Start Mixing

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the tuna, mayonnaise, sweet corn, Parmesan cheese, and onion flakes.Season with curry powder, parsley, and garlic powder.Add the lemon juice.
  2. Mix well and serve with toasted bread or crackers.
