Lemongrass Pork Patties

*You will need 1 lb of ground pork


Ingredients for Lemongrass Paste:


5 finely chopped Lemongrass

3 slice of Galangal

½ teaspoon of Turmeric Powder

6 cloves of Garlic

5 Lime Leaves


For best taste use pestle and mortar to crush and grind your ingredient into a paste. If that’s not available you may use your blender by adding ¼ a cup of water.


Your paste should look like this:

Once the paste is done, finely mix your lemon grass paste with 1lb of ground pork. Add 2 tablespoon of sugar and ½ teaspoon of salt. Mix until evenly.


Once that is complete have your pot ready with a cup of corn oil or vegetable oil. Take 2 tablespoon full of your meat and pat it evenly into a patty. Fry it until golden brown.



Side dish


Ingredient for sauce:


3 clove minced garlic

5 tablespoonful of fish sauce

4 tablespoonful of sugar

1 cup of boil water

5 tablespoonful of vinegar


Caramelized your sugar, add a cup of boil water, mix it evenly with minced garlic. Add 5 tablespoonful of fish sauce and 5 tablespoonful of vinegar. May add more sugar, fish sauce and vinegar that’s best for your own taste.


Vegetable:


Lettuce

Cucumber

Asparagus

Mint

basil leaves
