Homemade Easy Bake Oven Recipes

Updated on October 26, 2013

I love my daughters Easy Bake oven. We have so much fun together hanging out and baking simple recipes. It's something to do with the girls and the boys and its fun for all ages. My 8 year old loves to cook in her Easy Bake but a lot of times we can't afford to buy the mixes so I decided to look online for some recipes I can make so that the kids can play on their Easy Bake anytime they went (Of course with my assistance) You should never let the kids play with the easy bake without an adult present. But I hope you enjoy the recipes I found.

Angel Cookie Mix

  • 6 teaspoons of butter
  • 3 teaspoons of sugar
  • 3 teaspoons of brown sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup of flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon of cream of tartar
  • 1/8 teaspoon of baking soda

Mix all of the ingredients together until the mixture is of a cookie dough consistency. Take a small spoon and spoon out your cookie dough. (Make sure you butter the pan so the cookies don't stick. Pre-heat oven for 10 minutes then cook the cookies for about 5 minutes. This mix will make 12 one-inch cookies.

The brownie mix totally didn't work. It bubbled up, was very soft, and so I just kept baking it. Then it got hard, like candy. Has this actually worked for anyone else?
