I never thought that I would give away my secret recipe for macaroni and cheese, but it's here, too. The secret ingredient may surprise you. Try it. I would say it's the best macaroni and cheese recipe ever, but I'm biased.

Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

Here It Is- My Secret Recipe Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Secret Recipe Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Serves 6

Ingredients-

16 oz uncooked macaroni

2 cans (10.75 oz each) Cheddar Cheese soup

1 cup milk

16 oz shredded sharp Cheddar Cheese

White truffle oil

Fill a large pot with water. Add a teaspoon of salt and bring to a boil. Add the macaroni and cook until al dente, about 9 minutes. Drain well. Add cheese soup, milk, and Cheddar cheese. Mix well.

Pour the macaroni mixture into a greased 2 quart casserole dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese begins to brown and become bubbly.

Before serving, drizzle about 2 tablespoons of white truffle oil over the pasta dish.

Note: White truffle oil is expensive, but a little goes a long way. If you use truffle oil in your macaroni and cheese recipe, you will never want to eat macaroni and cheese any other way again.

      ARE YOU KIDDING.

YOU ADDED NO BUTTER, NO EGGS, NO AMERICAN CHEESE,. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING. YOU DESTROYED THE TRUE NATURE OF THIS DISH. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING

I agree, Seattleicity. It's nice to just forget about it and then have creamy homemade macaroni and cheese waiting for you at the end of the day. Thanks for stopping by.

I love the idea of a crockpot recipe for mac & cheese. There's nothing more comforting on a cool day than homemade mac & cheese. No boxed stuff for me please.
