How cute
How cute

This is an awesome macaroni side. The way the flavors come together, it’s explosive. Who would have thought that putting these ingredients together would make a perfect complement to any main dish.

I have found that macaroni is a favorite around the world. It’s on most menus in restaurants. We crave carb’s. And what better way to curb those cravings than to sit down with a plate of old fashioned macaroni and cheese. But this isn’t your ordinary old fashioned mac & cheese. It has a unforgettable yet remarkable essence, that you will have to try and capture on your own. I hope you delight in this as much as we have.

You will need:

* 1 medium box Elbow macaroni noodles (cooked according to package)

* 1 can of condensed milk

* 2 tablespoons of pesto

* 1 tablespoon of sugar

* 1 tsp salt

* 1 lbs. sharp cheddar, sliced

* 1 lbs of Colby and Monterey Jack cubes (you can purchase them in the same package)

* 2 tablespoons of butter

* 13x9 baking dish

-Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

-In a large bowl combine cooked noodles, ½ a can of condensed milk, pesto, Colby and jack cheese, salt and sugar, and butter

-Mix ingredients well

-After mixing, pour yummy mixture into your 13x9 baking dish

-Layer your sliced cheese on top

-Bake in the oven until brown on the top, times can vary anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 minutes, depending on the desired brownness.

And viola, there you have it. This is our favorite mac and cheese.
