Adding pizzazz to the basic tuna sandwich.

Ingredients:

Bread (4 slices)

Tuna (1 can)

Mayo or Miracle Whip (Depends on how much you like Mayonnaise / Miracle Whip, determines on how much to use, about two tablespoons mixed in with the other ingredients and if you wish, you can spread some on one side of each slices of bread.)

Pickle Relish / Sweet Relish (1 tablespoonful)

Makes 2 sandwiches

Add Pizzazz

  • If budget allows don’t stop with the ingredients above, add a Hard Boiled Egg (chopped up) and add a slice of your preferred cheese. Don’t stop there; try adding lettuce. Why stop there, add a slice of tomato. Oh, take it one step further and toast your bread.
  • Substitute: Bread, try spreading tuna mix on your favorite crackers.

No Cook Time:

Prep time: 5 min
Ready in: 5 min
Yields: Serves 2 people, one tuna sandwich each.

Take a bite or eat the whole sandwich.

Albacore Tuna vs Light Tuna

Albacore is (white meat) and doesn't have that fishy aroma and taste that tuna does.

Canned light Tuna is low in Mercury and is lower in sodium.

Albacore tuna has more Mercury than canned light tuna.

Mercury can be harmful to people, especially to children and anyone pregnant.
