Malunggay powder and Flakes

Malunggay or moringa has become very popular nowadays. It is called the "miracle tree" since is has tons of benefits in the body. Vitamins C content of an ounce of malunggay is equivalent to four oranges and Vitamin A is like eating four carrots.

Every parts of malunggay tree has its own function, in fact, you can eat not just the leaves but also the pods and flowers and it can be cooked in many ways.

Malunggay powder and malunggay flakes on the other hand is use in bread, pasta, tea and even as crackers as alternative for junk foods.

Most bakeshop now is baking bread with malunggay powder or malunggay flakes, depending on the preference. Others used powder so it won't be visible in the bread while others want the presence of malunggay prominent so they use malunggay flakes.

It is now available in the market for a minimal cost, 1 kilo of malunggay flakes cost Php650 or aroubd US$16m, while malunggay powder is Php750 or US$18.
