Mariage Freres: Marco Polo Tea: Who Would Have Thought A Delicious Fruit Tea Would Come From France?

Updated on January 12, 2013

As a world traveler, I have spent a lifetime collecting tea from around the world. I would not say I an expert, but I have a sound knowledge of tea and have relatives running a tea plantation in Darjeeling, India. There are many great tea varieties in the world and I enjoy all I can.

I have always loved the fruit teas that are both flavorful and aromatic. I have tried many brands, some with caffeine and others without caffeine. I love the black teas and the green leaf teas. However, it is a wonderful surprise to find a tea blended by the French company Mariage Freres that truly is unique. Everyone I have served this tea has loved it. This tea has a wonderful subtle flavor and, a deeply satisfying taste and the fragrance is very pleasing to the old nose. I have had many brands of fruit and flower tea, both loose leaf and in a bag, but I was absolutely delighted to find this delicious tea. The only negative is that it is hard to find and you will most likely have to order it on line.

For a really great cup of tea, try this one, you will thank me.
