Over the years I have asked almost everyone I know how they make their meatloaf and almost everyone has a different ideal of what makes a great meatloaf. It doesn't matter if you already have a great meatloaf recipe or if your looking for great meatloaf recipes I have for you what I think is the perfect meatloaf recipe. And I truly believe I have a really easy meatloaf recipe for a great meatloaf.

A lot of people think they have to have a loaf pan to make a perfect meatloaf but you really don't All you need to make an absolutely perfect meatloaf is to wet your hands and after you have mixed all your meatloaf ingredients together your going to want to use your wet hands and shape your meat into the perfect meatloaf shape.

It still really surprises me that something as simple as a meatloaf has so many different recipes. People use everything from cheese to cracker crumbs as a filler for their meatloaf but what's more important than anything else when making a great meatloaf is to keep it simple.

I have saw people use grated carrots and mashed potatoes in their meatloaf. I guess that was to get the vegetables in. But I stick to the basics when I make my meatloaf.

I think that ground pork and lean ground beef belong in a meatloaf along with sweet onion and I use Heinz 57 instead of Ketchup for spreading over the top and sides of my meatloaf and people say I make the best meatloaf on earth.

Just Follow The Recipe For The Perfect Meatloaf.

While most people use ketchup to go on the top and sides of their meatloaf I use Heinz 57 Sauce and people tell me it is oh so delicious.

Easy Meatloaf Recipe

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to make a wonderful meatloaf. In my recipe we are going to use lean ground beef and ground pork to make our meat loaf with. I suggest you start out with a large mixing bowl that you can mix all your ingredients up in. You will also need a good baking pan to cook your meatloaf on. Your pan should have at least 2 inch sides so your juices won't drip down into the oven.

For Your Easy Meatloaf Recipe You Will Need.

1. One Pound Lean Ground Beef.

2. One Pound Ground Pork.

3. One Medium Sweet Onion Diced Fine. , You want this onion to be very finely diced.

4. One Cup Of Oatmeal.

5. 1/2 Cup Ketchup.

6. Three Large Eggs Well Beaten.

7. Two Teaspoons Dried Sage.

8. One Teaspoon Dried Thyme.

9. One Teaspoon Dried Rosemary.

10. One Teaspoon Dried Red Pepper Flakes.

11. Salt And Black Pepper To Taste.

12. Heinz 57 To Spread On Top Of Your Meatloaf.

The real secret to this meat loaf is the Heinz 57 Sauce. If you have never tried a meat loaf with Heinz 57 Sauce you have to give it a try as this is one of the best meat loaves you will ever eat.

Combine all of your ingredients in the large mixing bowl and use your hands to make sure the ingredients are very well mixed together. Once you have all the meat loaf ingredients mixed together very well wet your hands and form the meat loaf ingredients into a loaf shape on the baking pan.Take you Heinz 57 Sauce and rub the meat loaf all over with the Heinz 57 Sauce being sure to cover the top and sides.

You will want to pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees and bake your meat loaf for one and one half hours or until you get a temperature in the center of your meatloaf of 160 degrees. You will want to let your meat loaf stand for 15 minutes before you slice it.

The Heinz 57 Sauce will make a tasty meatloaf that your not soon to forget. Serve your meatloaf with homemade mashed potatoes, brown gravy, and sweet peas. And I bet your family and guests will say it is the best meatloaf they have ever tasted.

I like this meatloaf recipe. Meatloaf is economical, easy to make and generally well liked by most people. I like the Heinz addition. This recipe has made me really hungry.

I used to work with the US military in Berlin, Germany and whenever the USAF cooks were serving meatloaf, I always made a beeline for it. Meatloaf is not something we do in the UK. This recipe sounds like it might be worth trying.

The meatloaf recipe you have kindly shared with others sounds delightful. I've never made my own meatloaf with the ingredients you've suggested. Then again, I've also never used a measuring cup for any of the ingredients I put into my meatloaf, which has many ingredients. I constantly make mine, due to the fact that my niece(my sister's daughter) loves to eat it and compliments me every time I make. However, I might give yours a try. Thank you for sharing. :)
