Minnesota Cooking: Nacho Cheese Chips With Cheese

Updated on May 19, 2016

Easy Peasy

There wasn't anything hard about this dish. Open the bag of Doritoes. Spread a layer of chips on a paper plate. Cover the chips with shredded cheese. Cut about 8 green olives into slices and place on the cheese.

Then, place into the microwave and nuke them until the cheese is melted evenly. Take the dish out of the microwave, let cool and peel each chip off with some cheese.

It was very simple. It was tasty. It took only a few minutes.

Fact: I have used frozen cheese shreds and they work as well. It just takes a few extra minutes in the microwave.

I've never made nacho cheese chips with a flavored chip. I usually use the regular family-style chips. I'll have to try this recipe some time. Thanks for sharing.
