Minute chocolate Mug Cake

Updated on September 10, 2008

This has to be the best recipe I ever found...please try it and enjoy...

1 coffee mug

4 tbls. flour (plain..not self -rising)

4 tbls. sugar

2 tbls. baking cocoa

1 egg

3 tbls. milk

3 tbls.oil

3 tbls. choco chips (optional)

small splash of vanilla

Add dry ingred. to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.

Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.

Add the choco chips (if using) and vanilla, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.

The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed !

Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate, if desired. Eat

Can serve 2...and this is the most dangerous cake recipe known because now you are only five minutes away from chocolate cake any time of the day...or night yikes. ! :o) hugs G-Ma

P.S. ashwinspga has given me a good idea.....you can add nuts....also of course choco frosting or whip cream or whatever turns you on...lol

This seems simple enough but yet will produce a most delish cup of chocolate. I saw something like this on Dr. Oz where a guest made it with ground flaxseed instead of flour. It is so interesting that yours will rise without baking powder. I will try this!
