Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe

I love buffalo chicken dip.  I have been bringing this to parties for more than two years now.  My dish always comes back empty, and you have to love it when that happens. I love that this dish is very simple to put together, and it is extremely flexible too.  The basic ingredients are cooked chicken, hot sauce, cream cheese, and then we get to have some fun.  If you like blue cheese, I recommend adding in blue cheese, if you aren't a fan of blue cheese, some cheddar or even Monterey jack goes well.  Some folks add in celery to this mixture, some don't.

I like to make my buffalo chicken dip with Frank's Red Hot Sauce, I think it is the most flavorful of the hot sauce, as it spicy but not too vinegary.

1 8 ounce package cream cheese softened
2 cans (9.75 ounces) chunk chicken breast drained
1/4 cup Frank's Redhot Sauce
1/2 cup salad dressing (ranch or blue cheese)
1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or blue cheese)

Add all ingredients in a pot and stir to combine.  Heat gently over low to medium heat.

Serve with carrots, celery, crackers, or chips.
