A Divine Dessert
It’s a cake! It’s a brownie! It’s The Mother of All Peanut Butter Cups !
I offered to make my friend dinner for her birthday. The menu was not a problem until dessert. I asked her what kind of cake she wanted. She told me she did not know, in fact it didn’t even have to be cake...but something with chocolate and peanut butter would be preferred. There are a myriad of recipes available for just about everything, but I wanted something different, so I made up this dessert. Not only was it a big hit for my friends’ birthday, but others have told me it was the best dessert they’d ever eaten!

Ingredients & Instructions
Box Brownie Mix: Follow directions, except bake in two 8” cake pans.
Filling: Mix about 1-1/2 Cups of Peanut Butter with about 2/3 Cup of Powdered Sugar. Filling should be stiff but spreadable.
Icing: Melt about 3 Cups Chocolate Chips with 4 T of Heavy Whipping Cream in microwave. Recommend half power in 45 second increments, stirring in between until fully melted. (You can also find a ganache recipe to use.)
Assemble: Place first brownie layer on wax paper and cut around edge. Spread peanut butter filling. Place second brownie layer on top of peanut butter. Spread ganache over the top and sides. If the ganache is thin, you may need to do multiple layers of chocolate.
Serve: Let ganache set. Slice & Serve.
