Stuffed Pancake:Street food
Boneless Mutton:1 1/2 kg
Almond paste:50 gms
Garam masala powder:2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste:1 tbsp
Boiled peeled and mashed potato:1 1/4 kg
Oil or ghee:200gms
Salt and chilli powder to taste
Boil mutton with onion,channa dal(split chickpeas)and ginger garlic paste,salt,chilli powder with sufficient water till meat is tender and water dries up.
Add yoghurt and 2 eggs while grinding the meat.
Mix garam masala,chironji(Charoli),badam(almond paste) and kaju(cashewnut paste) and greens.Mix well and keepaside.
In mashed potato add butter,cheese,salt and two beaten eggs.
Take a baking dish and line it with butter paper.
Divide the potato into four parts and meat into three parts.
Now spread one part of the potato evenly in the baking dish and on it spread one part of ground meat.Sprinkle a little oil on it.
Repeat the layers twice and the final layer should be of potatoes.
Prick it and pour oil on it and brush the top with remaining egg and bake in a moderate oven until light golden brown.
Note:Chapati can be replaced with potatoes.
Butter or ghee:200gms
Salt to taste
Mix all the ingredients with the flour if needed.
Add a little milk or water and knead the flour to a pliable dough.
Roll the dough thinly into chapati.
Use this chapati in place of potato layers.
