My Own Slimming Version of the Double Layer Pumpkin Pie
Here's a sliming and healthy way to prepare a delicious holiday dessert. I tried this recipe with the substitutes myself and have found that the flavor is just as wonderful, as if I had used the standard ingredients that will also give my body the standard weight gain, so here's a way to keep all that delicious flavor with a lot less calories.
Double Layer Pumpkin Pie Dieter's Style
1 package cream cheese 1/3 less fat softened
1 tub sugar free cool whip
1 cup and one tbsp fat free milk
2 small envelopes of stevia or one table spoon stevia
1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
1 package vanilla sugar free pudding
1 teaspoon cinamin
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 gram cracker pie crust with reduce fat, you can also use a small casserole dish to make it even more calorie free. That is something I do and it tastes just as wonderful.
For the first layer you mix the soften cream cheese with a table spoon of milk and the stevia and then you stir in half a tub of the sugar free cool whip. Make sure it is thoroughly mixed and the spread on pie crust or casserole dish for the bottom layer.
take the vanilla pudding mix it with a cup non fat milk and add the pumpkin, add spices and mix thoroughly, spread on top of bottom layer. Refrigerate for four hours or overnight. enjoy.
