Nana's Franks, Beans, and Pineapple

This is a really easy recipe for working moms with finicky eaters. It combines 3 of the 5 food groups, and is completely versatile. The best thing about it: it costs under $10 to make!

Yields: Serves five people

Ingredients

  • 4 hot dogs, sliced into small round pieces
  • 1 22 oz can baked beans
  • 1 20 oz can pineapple tidbits
  • ketchup
  • mustard
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Open can of baked beans and pour contents into medium size casserole dish. Slice hot dogs and add to baked beans. Stir with spoon. Add ketchup and mustard-season to taste. Open can of pineapple-don't forget to drink the juice! and stir into dish.
  2. Cover dish with either glass lid or tin foil. Place in oven and cook for 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy
