Olive and Tomato Salad
When I first began experimenting in the kitchen I was more into sweets. So I went through a major chocolate making phase, followed by a cake baking stage and eventually a cheesecake making phase before I graduated to more serious cooking.
Then came the meat and chicken phase and eventually the vegetables and salad making stage. Initially I would follow recipes that I managed to get from my Mother, Aunts, and any friends who could actually cook. Then I graduated to making up my own variations of these recipes.
The Olive and Tomato Salad recipe I share here is one of the few that I came up with all on my own. So its extra special to me. Plus it tastes great as a side to a dish of pasta or cheese macaroni. And yes its really low calorie so you can use it as a nice filling meal if you are on a diet.
Recipe for Olive and Tomato Salad
Ingredients you need -
1 clove garlic
4 green olives
Strips of Capcisum
Salt and Pepper to taste
How to make the Olive and Tomato Salad
1. Chop up the tomatoes and add to the bowl.
2. Crush and cut up the garlic before you add it to the bowl.
3. Slice up the Olives and add to the bowl.
4. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
5. Garnish with capsicum
