Fried Chicken

Fried Chicken recipes are by common and most of them are great in taste. Fried Chicken is loved by all whether you belong any age group. Chicken is obviously most used meat through out the world and it is the heart of fast food. That's why i am going to share my recipe with all of you which is made of Orange and Chicken. It tastes a little sweet and a little sour, it is also full of spices. Well you can reduce spice quantity it you don't like much. Now lets move to make our recipe..

Yields: 3

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Chicken, Large pieces
  • 1 large Orange, juice
  • 1 tbs Salt
  • 3 Whole round red chilli
  • 1 tbs Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbs Coriander seeds
  • 1 tbs Lemon juice
  • 1 tbs Vinegar
  • 2 pinch Food color, (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger, paste
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic, paste

Method

  1. Take washed chicken in a round bole. add lemon juice, vinegar, ginger, garlic paste and salt in it. Keep it covered for 15 minutes.
  2. Mean while turn on stove and Put on a frying pan. Heat it, now add cumin seeds, coriander seeds and whole round red chili and roast them till they start giving light cook smell.
  3. Now turn off stove and grind these three roasted spices. Now add them in chicken.
  4. Its time to add orange juice in chicken. keep it marinated for minimum an hour.
  5. Now fry your chicken and serve it with fried onion, capsicum and carrot.

Note

You can bake this marinated chicken in oven as well. Pre-heat oven on 120 degree c for 10 ten minute now grease a baking dish add chicken in it and brush it will oil. Put it in oven for 20 minute.

Nutrition In Orange Fried Chicken

My fried chicken has orange in it which is very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Thiamine, Folate and Potassium, Calcium and a very good source of Vitamin C. It is one of the most popular beverages around so it surely made this dish very tasty and appealing. Basically fried chicken is full calories and cholesterol but the addition of orange juice will obviously affect calories quantity. Orange fried chicken is best for people who are weak in health. On the other hand people who like fast food type of recipes would love this one.
