Beautiful Organic Vegetables, Babies, Kids, Dogs, Music and People at My Local Farmer's Market

Updated on January 31, 2011

Beautiful babies, dogs, mohttp://hubpages.com/hubtool/edit/1492812#ms, music and organic vegetables at my local farmer's market

The Birmingham, Michigan, Farmer's Market is a popular destination for a sunny Sunday morning to shop for organic, locally grown, sustainable, non-hormonal vegetables and food, listen to country or blues music, or just take your baby, kids or dog out for a stroll. The market offers quite an array of beautiful locally grown vegetables and other local food including hot dogs and brats from Franks Anatra for those who are open minded about what they eat. And you might be able to get a chess game in the shade of a tree.

This week the entertainment was provided by John Latini whose country music repertoire included "Your Cheatin' Heart" and several other Hank Williams classics.

Freudian slip! Tnx for the comment! The bearded guy is there every Sunday. I think he works there or has something to do with the market.

Love the bearded codger in the hat. Is he a regular?

Very cool, thanks for sharing all of the great pics/video. I have a community garden at the end of my street and they recently started bringing in a few local farmers on friday to host a farmers market. At first it looked like it might fail but it has sinced gained strong traction and now is quite the event. Organic food, good people, fun conversation, etc. Definetely something I love seeing!
