Buy Organic Snacks: Organic Cookies and Candies

Updated on March 8, 2011

Are you ready to have a food pantry makeover? If you are, make way for these yummy and delicious organic snacks. Let's move aside the junk food and make way for organic cookies and candies for you and your kids.

Be sure to read the labels of these so called organic snacks. You never really know how organic they are. Avoid these not-so-healthy ingredients like MSG and high fructose corn syrup, GMO’s (genetically modified organisms), artificial colorings/flavorings, and other preservatives.

Organic foods should not contain ANY of these ingredients. Take note that foods that are natural will not contain artificial colors, flavorings or preservatives. So check it out! Ask before buying.  Be aware.

Organic Crunch Dried Snacks, Sweet Corn

I love eating sweet corn.  This organic snack is a mix of organic sweet corn and sea salt.  Eating this pouch is like gobbling up one half cup of fresh vegetables.  It is 100 percent organic and all natural, meaning no fat, gluten or preservatives.  It is a product of California.

Cherry Berry is a mix of apples, cherries, blueberries, and strawberries. It's like taking in 1/2-cup of fresh fruit. Wow, that is yummy! Orchard Blend is made up of apples, peaches, apricots, and nothing else.

If you are an apple lover, Apple Harvest is for you. If you love tropical fruits, this mix of apples, pineapples, mangoes, and bananas are found in Tropical Blend.

Children love to eat these too.  It is also perfect as a gift for family and friends.

Late July Organic Decadent Dark Chocolate Sandwich Cookies: Dark chocolate with a hint of organic vanilla is sandwiched between two chocolate cookies. They boast of 4 grams of whole grain per single pack and has antioxidants.

If you like chips and candies, it feel so good to know that there are now a lot of organic snacks to choose from.  You can now opt to change your usual chips and candies to something organic.  Enjoy watching television or a game with these delicious organic snacks.

Berries Anyone?

Goji Berries, considered to be one of the most nutrient rich fruit in the world, was discovered in the Himalayas three thousand years ago.  According to the famous legend, this was harvested with love and care by monks for thousands of years.  It is rich with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that help you keep young.  You can add them in your cereals, salads or yogurt, smoothies or when your baking your muffins.  In Himalayas, they are known to be added to soup or mix with their tea or just by themselves.

Hmmmm...

There are a lot of organic products sold in the markets today. Just remember your choice to purchase or buy food that are natural or organic is making sure that your family is not exposed to harmful pesticides, artificial flavors, colors, chemicals. Also it is important to remember that organic food like organic snacks, organic cookies and candies is better for Mother Earth and for our animals which provide us food.
