Delicious red snapper fish served at Paradise West Indian Restaurant
- The red snapper fish entrée from Paradise West Indian Restaurant was very tasty with a red snapper whole fish, rice and red beans mixture, and vegetables including cabbage, green peas, corn and carrots. Paradise West Indian Restaurant sells this entree at a cost of $12.99.
- I initially ordered the red snapper fish and king fish combination from Paradise West Indian Restaurant but received a call to learn that the combination was no longer available and I could either get a king fish entree or a red snapper fish entree but the combination of both is no longer an option. I decided to go with the red snapper fish entree.
- The cabbage from Paradise West Indian Restaurant was delicately cooked, fresh and tasty. It was not overcooked as can sometimes be a problem with cabbage. The combination of cooked cabbage, green peas, corn and carrots was tasty.
- The red snapper entrée from Paradise West Indian Restaurant also included a couple of pieces of plantain and a hearty dumpling. The dumpling was made the old fashioned way that dumplings are made in Caribbean culture and it was a delicious surprise. I had not known that this large and filling dumpling would be included with the entrée.

Stew chicken entree with a rich brown sauce, served at Paradise West Indian Restaurant in Greensboro, North Carolina
Stew chicken entree
- The third food item that my family purchased with this first food order from Paradise West Indian Restaurant was the stew chicken entrée.
- As we sampled all of the different dishes (oxtail, red snapper and stew chicken) from Paradise West Indian Restaurant, the stew chicken is the food item that we all liked the least but it was still okay.
- The thing was that although the chicken was covered with a rich brown sauce that I assume contained molasses among other ingredients, the chicken when bitten into was a bit dry.
- This can often occur with the chicken breast pieces and they would need to soak really well in a marinade to avoid that dryness.
The oxtail entree from Paradise West Indian Restaurant also has a dark brown sauce with the same flavor of the sauce accompanying the stew chicken entree
