Who doesn't love a good chicken wing recipe. This is the only one I make for parties because it's the best. If you serve these amazing teriyaki chicken wings, your guests will always come back. Please, try it once and you'll never make another chicken wing recipe again. The other great thing about serving chicken at parties, is the health benefits of this particular protein. Go ahead; indulge on the chicken wings.

Marinade Chicken 2-4 Hours


Instructions for Teriyaki Chicken Wings

  1. Mix together all sauce ingredients with a whisk.
  2. Add thoroughly washed and patted chicken pieces to sauce bowl.
  3. Marinade chicken in refrigerator 2-4 hours before baking.
  4. Place chicken in baking dish or on baking pan.
  5. Pour 3/4 of sauce mixture on top of chicken pieces.
  6. Bake chicken at 350 degree's for approximately one hour.
  7. Take them out of oven and cool before eating to prevent burning your mouth.
  8. Serve with celery sticks and Ranch dressing.

Ingredients for Teriyaki Chicken Wings

  • 1 Bag Chicken Wings and Drummies, Pieces
  • 3 Tablespoons White Vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons Brown and White Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger
  • 2 Teaspoons or 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced or Shredded

Home-Made Teriyaki Sauce

If you have the time and energy, you can choose to make your own teriyaki sauce

Teriyaki Sauce:
1 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1 cup grapefruit juice
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 fresh, hot red chile, halved
5 garlic cloves, halved
2 -inch piece fresh ginger, smashed with the side of a large knife

    breathe2travel-I usually use ginger powder because it's on hand. You can use the real thing as I'm sure it would be awesome. I just keep it simple. So glad your gonna try it out. By the way, thanks a lot for voting up and useful:)

    I love good wings... my dad made some on his visit here over the Thanksgiving weekend -- however his recipe is time consuming & requires nursing/detail. Your recipe sounds simple -- and less time consuming... I think I shall try it! :) Voted up & useful.

    quick question - is the ginger freshly graded, or dried/powder? I'm guessing the latter bc you specify "fresh" garlic.

    What a great compliment WeNdY-They are super delectable. I make them a lot when we watch football over here and everyone goes nuts for them. I actually made them last Sunday and they were gone within the hour of the football game starting. I made a triple batch too. Have a great weekend:)
