Pecorino Pasta in fresh Tomato, Sausage

Ingredients

  • 2 cup penne pasta, uncooked
  • 1 cup Italian sausage, sweet
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp garlic, chopped
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tomato, chopped
  • 6 tsp pecorino cheese, grated fresh divided
  • 1/4 tsp salt, as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup basil leaves, torn fresh

Process of Making :

  1. Firstly take a pan add water in it and small amount of oil and salt and bring them boil.After that add pasta in it and cook it.
  2. After pasta is cooked drain water and keep pasta aside.
  3. Now heat a large nonstick pan, add oil in it and let it heat properly. Then add sausage and onion to pan and cook it for approx. 4 minutes. stirring to crumble sausage.
  4. Then add garlic and cook for 2 minutes, add tomato and stir well and again cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, add pasta in it and stir properly. Now add cheese,salt and pepper.
  6. Now at the end sprinkle with remaining cheese and basil leaves. Serve.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Don't forget to use nonstick pan, because if not used it will stick in the pan.
  2. Don't saute the ingredients too much otherwise the actual taste will not come.

      Niice...I might try this recipe out, although Italian sausage may not be available everywhere, I'll try with Chicken sausage or I guess even some veggie option like Soya to experiment, bcuz I have friends and a special someone who are vegetarians, may be you can try those variations too. I have one request- can you please try French Tomato Cream soup, if you haven't already since you seem like an avid cook, & post that recipe. That'd be great :)
