Updated on November 19, 2010

Hamburger Steak

Here is a little meal I love,as you can see I love to cook.

2 pounds ground beef,sirloin          Tabasco sauce,to taste

4 teaspoons black pepper               1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt                                                   Parsley,chopped

4 teaspoons butter                           2 tablespoon brandy, warmed,or Red wine

Shape the beef lightly into four cakes and sprinkle each side with pepper. With the heel of the  hand, press the pepper into the meat and let stand for about 30 minutes. Sprinkle a light layer of salt over the bottom, add the hamburgers. Cook until well browned on one side. Turn and cook for a couple of minutes for rare, a minute more for medium. Sprinkle with a little lemon juice, Tabasco,Worcestershire. Remove patties to warm platter. Stir sauce in skillet. Add a little butter,a couple tablespoons red wine, or brandy if you like. Turn heat up,pour over each patty. Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley and chives. Serving for 4  Enjoy
