Perfect Pumpkin Pie

I love this recipe and I make it for my family every Thanksgiving. My family devourers it every year. This perfect pumpkin pie is a great way to end a fantastic meal. Top this pie with whip topping and serve with your coffee or your favorite beverage.

Ready in: 1 hour 5 min
Yields: 1 Pie/ 8 servings


  • 1 15oz can Pure Pumpkin
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 tea.spoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 tea.spoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 tea.spoon salt
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 12oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 teasp. ginger
  • 1 9in pie crust
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Mix together Sugar, Cinnamon, Salt, Ginger, and Nutmeg in a bowl.
  3. Stir in Pumpkin and sugar spice mixture. Then gradually stir in the milk until well combined.
  4. Pour mixture into the 9in deep dish pie shell and place on a baking pan that has been lined with foil.
  5. Bake Pie at 425 for 15 min. Then reduce teimpature to 350 degrees and bake for 40-50 mins or untle a knife inserted in the center of the pie comes out clean.
  6. cool on a rack for 2 hours.
  7. Serve when done cooling or refrigerate. Top with whip cream and enjoy!
