PorkChops- My Way
takes some time to make but is definitely worth it!
Hey fellow Hubbers! I hope you are having a great day or night, wherever you may be in this world. I just wanted to share a pork chop recipe for you that I have made a few times now; it comes out really well.
1. Thin to medium thick lean pork chops- 4-6 in number
2. Either ketchup or spicy ketchup (Heinz Kickers is one that I have used)- about 3-4 tablespoons
3. 1 tsp of each: salt, cinnamon, cayenne/chilli pepper, ground mustard, black pepper, garlic and ginger paste.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a big bowl or plastic container, mix ketchup and spices well. Then add about 3-4 tablespoons of water and mix again. Next add pork chops and mix well to make sure marinade is on each pork chop. Then let sit for about a half an hour. After a half hour turn pork chops over and mix well to make sure marinade is on each pork chop again.
Preparation Time: About 35-40 minutes because of marination.
Transfer the pork and spices to a baking dish (either a square baking dish or a 13" by 9" dish will do), cover with aluminum foil and put in oven for about 35 minutes. Then take foil off from dish and bake uncovered for about 10-15 more minutes. Let cool in the same baking dish for about 5 minutes and enjoy.
Preparation Time: About 45-50 minutes due to baking time.
Serves: About 4-6 people
