Portable Kitchen Grill

Updated on February 1, 2011

Greetings and welcome to a new hub in a category I have always been hesitant to write in—cooking. You see, I am a self-confessed (and professed) experimental cook. And, like most men, I learned most of the limited stuff I know, from the grill.

I do not want to sound sexist but I really do feel that grilling is a man’s thing. I mean, it is fairly simple, and, to take away some from my sexist comment, mean are hard to teach or simply have no discipline to learn intricate stuff. Ask my wife and I’m 100% sure she’ll tell you the same. Aside from that, barbecue get-togethers just beg for beer and sports, which are somewhat widely accepted as manly things. Besides, if we keep it (activities) within our homes instead of unknown territory like clubs, we make the wives happy.

If you do not have the luxury of having an in-built outdoor grill (as I), do not fret. Trailer-mount portable grills are widely available. These portable barbecue kitchen grills make it easy for you to setup outdoors and be ready to cook within minutes. All it literally takes is some charcoal and some meat, and you are set to barbecue in not time.

Portable kitchen grill buying tips

Portable kitchen is a popular brand an innovator of charcoal grills. Their most famous design has a coverable grill made from stainless aluminum that is mounted on a custom truck. The truck has wheels only on one end, mimicking a wheelbarrow design. It has stands on the opposite end for support when positioned. It also has trailer handles that also serve as tray or plate containers.

The Portable kitchen grill design is very basic and effective design for portable grills and smokers. Although there are other brand alternatives, I can personally attest to this product as it has served me and me and my buddies numerous times already. Being made from aluminum, the whole assembly is very light. It is also very easy to clean and you need not worry about corrosion and rust.

The PK grill sells for less than $300 dollars and some of the lowest deals I’ve seen are around $250. Even for its list price it is definitely worth it.

If you want to host your own barbecue as soon as possible, I personally recommend Personal Kitchen’s products. They are of utmost quality and have been tried and tested worldwide.
