How to make Potato Pie Recipe Baked in Oven

Ingredients for Potato Pie

  • 4 boiled potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 small courgettes
  • 3 teacups milk
  • 1 teacup flour
  • 1/2 teacup + 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • salt pepper
  • 1 teacup grated gruyere cheese
  • 1 teacup grated feta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped spearmint or parsley

Baking Potato Pie in Oven

  1. Peel the potatoes with peeler or knife and slice them.
  2. Grate the onions and garlic.
  3. With the help of multi-mixer cut the courgettes into tiny pieces.
  4. Add salt, pepper and eggs into the milk and beat the ingredients.
  5. Into big bowl add all vegetables, potatoes, beaten eggs. Empty the teacup of olive oil, grated cheeses and spearmint or (parsley).
  6. Add the flour at the end and stir all ingredients well until you have a homogenous "dough".
  7. Brush the pyrex oven tray with olive oil and add dry bread crumbs. Make sure crumbs are covering all the surface of oven tray.
  8. Empty the homogenous mixture directly on crumbs and bake the pie for 45min at 180C.
  9. Remove the potato pie from the oven, let it cool down and cut into serving pieces.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy with friends and family.
