Vegetarian Potatoe Stuffing
6 slices wholewheat or multi-grain bread
1 small or medium onion (depending on you like for onions)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of chicken flavoring
1 tablespoon of summer savory
Chop onions and apple. Simmer with 4 tablespoons of canola or olive oil until soft in a frying pan .
While waiting for potatoes, onions and apples, cut bread into small squares and place into a good size mixing bowl. Add savory, chicken flavoring, salt and mix with bread.
Add boiled potatoes, onion and apple and mash all ingredients with a potatoe masher until well blended.
Place in pan, greased with olive or canola oil.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
