Here is a quick and easy recipe for Chili with Beans.

Quick And Easy Chili With Beans Recipe

With winter and cold weather coming soon I start thinking about soups and start trying to come up with some new delicious soup recipes. I have a lot of delicious chili recipes posted here on hub pages but I have been looking for a really good chili with beans recipe that can be made in a hurry and have a wonderful flavor.

I have also had many people to ask for a chili with beans recipe that can be cooked in a crock pot and while you must at least start this recipe in a skillet there is no reason you can't add all your ingredients to a crock pot and enjoy some delicious chili with beans when you come home.

I like Mexican Chili Powder while other people will have their favorite chili powder so by all means use your favorite chili powder in this delicious chili with beans.

For Your Quick And Easy Chili With Beans Recipe You Will Need.

1. One Pound Lean Ground Beef.

2. One Half Cup Sweet Onion Diced Very Fine.

3. One Four Ounce Can Green Chilies Diced Very Fine.

4. One Teaspoon Fresh Minced Garlic.

5. Two Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

6. One Fourteen And A Half Ounce Can Diced Tomatoes.

7. One Eight Ounce Can Tomato Sauce.

8. Two Tablespoons Of Your Favorite Chili Powder.

9. One Teaspoon Brown Sugar.

10. One Teaspoon Ground Cumin.

11. Two Fifteen And A Half Ounce Cans Red Kidney Beans. ( Rinsed and Drained )

Now you will want to start off by cooking your onion , lean ground beef , and minced garlic in the olive oil in a skillet until the beef and onion are done. Don't turn up the heat to high or your beef and onion will burn. Keep the heat down on medium and cook your lean ground beef and onions until they are done.

Now when you have the lean ground beef and onions done add to a 4 - 6 quart crock pot and then add all the rest of your above ingredients and cook on low for 8 hours. If possible stir your Quick And Easy Chili With Beans once every couple of hours.

After eight hours of cooking you will have some of if not the best Chili with Beans that you will ever taste. It will be done after eight hours on low heat and will now be ready to serve.

Your chili with beans will be wonderful with shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream.

Why Not Jazz Up Your Chili And Beans!

I like to make the chili with beans and then set up a mini buffet of the below items to serve with my chili with beans. My family and friends who are over enjoying the chili with beans can add any of the below items they like to their bowl of chili and beans.

1. Shredded Cheddar Cheese.

2. Sour Cream.

3. Sliced Canned Jalapenos.

4. Fine Diced Onions.

5. Four Cheese Shredded Mexican Cheese.

6. Guacamole.

7. Taco Chips.

I like to serve Captains Wafer Crackers with my Chili with Beans also. Most people love Captains Wafer Crackers with their Chili with Beans.

I set up the above items like a mini buffet bar with the chili with beans in a crock pot and the above items in containers near the crock pot of chili with beans so people can add what they want to their bowl of chili with beans. When I set it up like this there is rarely any left so I would say its really good. If you make the chili with beans please post a comment below and let us all know how you liked it. Also please post your comments or questions below. Thanks for reading my hub page on Quick and Easy Chili with Beans.

Now this is very much like mine, other than I always have diced bell peppers, sometimes with or without green chilis. And, this makes a smaller more manageable quantity for my family of two people.

Chili is my favorite one pot meal! I watched a cooking show, and cumin was used in the chili recipe. I never used cumin in chili before, but think I'll give it a try. Is there a distinct flavor once, it's added to the chili?

YUM! Similar to mine, except I use green peppers instead of chiles and don't add cumin. But, I bought some to try to see how I'll like it.

I just made a big kettle of chili and canned it. My sons love chili so when they stop by it is ready. I must admit though I do not like sugar in my chili. Keep on cooking!
