Quick Berry Pie
Fast and Tasty/Short but Sweet
Well here I go again...snowed in and cooking, just what I need! But love to cook so am practicing. This one is super, duper easy , really tasty and as you can see lately my lazy way of cooking for one...:O)
one graham cracker pie crust... you can either crush up the crackers, add melted butter and place in pie tin , cook in oven at 350 F. for 10 min. or so.
or you can buy one at the store already to go (here is where the fast timing comes in).
Fresh berries..6-8 cups. add sugar to taste and stir.
I had frozen blackberries in the freezer so I used them, but you can use any kind I would imagine,even the canned pie kind...
OK..... so now whip some whipping cream like normal, with sugar and vanilla.
Here again you could use prepared whipped cream .
Place the berries in the pie crust, cover with the whipped cream.
Serve each piece on a plate with mint leaf on top and some of the berries...yummmy.
I am thinking it could be frozen, then eaten also? what do you think? It may not make it to the freezer here though LOL ???? :O) :O) Hugs G-Ma
