Quick & Easy Dinner/Lunch Ideas
We get tired of eating the same food. It's a fact. We try new things or we add to what we already like to eat. We try to eat healthy and lets face it, it can get expensive. If you work a full time job, you don't have 2 hours to cook. You would rather spend your time relaxing instead of cooking a meal that your not sure if you would even eat. I would like to share some ideas of what I've already ate and already got tired of eating. Maybe it's something you haven't already had? These aren't fancy meals or take forever to cook. These are not recipes but simply ideas of what you can have for dinner or lunch.
Mac & Cheese
This one is simple and easy to make. You also have to option to add chili or hot dogs. It can help you give it an upgrade. Mac and cheese can be good with a lot of different food, you just have to think about what you already have in your fridge. It's also good to add some beans to it not just chili. It's just a simple idea that you may have thought of already.
Yes, I mentioned it with mac and cheese but you can make hot dogs and add chili to it. I like to use shredded cheese on it as well. You could also add veggies to it or some condiments like ketchup or mayo. Some people like mayo with their hot dogs. It can spice up the flavor as well.
Yes, the cresent rolls that come in a tube with the Pillsbury dough boy on it. They are delicious and don't take that long to make. You cut up each hot dog in half and place it inside the cresent roll as you wrap it. You cook them the same time as it says on the Pillsbury tube. I like to dip mine in ketchup.
Biscuits & Gravy
One of my favorite meals is biscuits and gravy. You can add hamburger to it as well. I like mine with country gravy. It's some good food that doesn't take that long to make.
One of my favorite foods to order at Arby's is a french dip. They are expensive, but making them yourself at home is cheaper. Buy some hoggie buns, roast beef lunch meat, swiss or provolone, and au jus. Make the sandwiches in microwave for a minute and a half. Cook up the au jus and there ya go.
Why go to taco bell when you can make your own? Purchase what you want in your taco. You can use hard shell or soft. Don't forget condiments like salsa, taco sauce, or sour cream. You can choose what kind of cheese you want. I personally like colby jack. It's a good meal to make if you eating with a few people.
Breakfast For Dinner
Yep. Breakfast for dinner is another idea. You could make eggs and toast or egg sandwiches. French toast is always a good idea or egg burritos. You can let your imagination flow when it comes to eating breakfast for dinner.
A lot of people believe it is complicated to make. It's easy and quick. Pick your noodles you want to boil and start grilling up your chicken. Add some seasoning and get a jar of Prego alfredo sauce. You can add some garlic to the chicken which could also spice up the flavor.
These are just a few ideas of what you can make. You can alter them and add what ever you want to them. I know how you feel when it comes to not knowing what to eat.
