Delicious Quesadilla Recipes
As a quick snack tortillas stack up great-literally. Quesadillas are are popular Mexican sandwiches usually made with flour tortillas and they can be filled with almost anything and grilled, griddled, or baked.
Fillings are limited only by your imagination and I'm sure you can come up with some great ideals of your own but here on this page I'm going to share some of my favorite Quesadilla recipes with you. Philly Cheese Steak Quesadillas
Yes these very special quesadillas are a lot like a Philly Cheese Steak. They have the most wonderful of flavors and are guaranteed to be a hit with almost anyone that tries them.
You will want a package of the Philly Cheese Steak Rib Eye meat from the frozen foods section of your local grocery store to make your steak quesadillas with. Let your meat thaw so you can work with it and pull it apart and place the meat in a large bowl. To this bowl add the below.
1. 1 Teaspoon Chipolte Ground Chili Powder.
2. 1 Teaspoon Chili Pepper.
3. 1 Teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper.
4. 1 Teaspoon Salt.
5. 1/2 Cup Sweet Pepper Onion in small strips.
6. 1/2 Cup Green Pepper in small strips.
7. Portabello Mushrooms in small strips.
Toss all of the above together well and cook it on a grill or in a large skillet. Once done return to a large bowl.You may want to cook your onions, mushrooms, and peppers to almost done first and then add all the other ingredients.
You will want flour tortillas and you will want to brush both sides of your flour tortilla with margarine. Cook 2 Flour tortillas for each quesadilla you want. You want to slightly brown them on each side.
Now you want a baking pan that you can lay 4 flour tortillas down on. Spray the pan with vegetable cooking spray before you lay your 4 cooked flour tortillas on the pan. Once you have the tortillas on the pan place a generous helping of the meat mixture onto each flour tortilla and then sprinkle the top of the meat mixture with a generous helping of shredded Mexican cheese and place a cooked flour tortilla on top of each of your quesadillas.
Bake for 15-20 minutes in a 350 degree oven until you see that the cheese is bubbly and hot in each of your steak quesadillas.Remove from the oven and cut into four pieces each. Serve sour cream and salsa with the steak quesadillas.
These steak quesadillas are some of the best quesadillas you will ever eat. They are a huge hit every where I serve them.
Garnish your steak quesadillas with slices of raw jalapenos sliced thin.

Chicken Quesadilla Recipe
Here is the recipe for the most delicious chicken quesadillas you will ever eat.
Homemade Chunky Salsa Vegetables To Serve On The Side.
Chop a tomato into small cubes and then chop a green bell pepper into small pieces. Now you want to chop a small bunch of cilantro into very small pieces. Add in a 4 ounce can of diced tomatoes with green chilies. Add 1 level teaspoon of ground cayenne pepper and 1 level teaspoon of salt and 2 tablespoons lime juice. Mix all these ingredients together well and chill in a covered container at least four hours. When your ready to serve your Chicken Quesadillas serve a small bowl of these vegetables along with each persons chicken quesadillas so they can eat them or add them to their chicken quesadillas.
Now you will want 6-8 skinless boneless chicken breast and you want to cut it up in very small cubes. Fry in a small amount of olive oil and sprinkle your chicken well with a dry package of taco seasoning. Fry your chicken until it is done and set aside in a bowl.
Brush your flour tortillas with margarine and brown them to golden brown on each side. Place four cooked flour tortillas on a baking pan and apply a generous helping of chopped cooked chicken cubes to each flour tortilla. Then add a generous sprinkle of shredded Mexican Cheese and a tablespoon of Sour Cream to each flour tortilla. Now put the tops on and cook for 15 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven. Take them out of the oven and cut each into four pieces and serve with a small bowl of the salsa vegetables above to each person.
To me these are the best Chicken Quesadillas you will ever eat.

Quesadilla Supremes Recipe
These take a little effort but I assure you that they are well worth it.
To prepare your meat for your filling start off with 2 pounds of ground beef, 1 large purple sweet onion diced fine and 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic. Cook until your hamburger is brown and done and your onion is done. Drain away any grease. Now run one small whole fresh Jalapeno that you have cut the stem off of through your food processor. Add it to your meat mixture and stir it in. Add 1/2 cup of re-fried beans to the meat and mix well.
You want to brown two flour tortillas to golden brown for each Quesadilla Supreme you will be needing.
Place four browned flour tortillas down on a baking pan and then put a bed of shredded lettuce on each flour tortilla. Sprinkle fine chopped tomatoes over the lettuce and sprinkle with lime juice.Place a generous layer of meat on top of the lettuce and on top of this place a layer of shredded 4 cheese Mexican Cheese. Turn your ovens broiler on and stick your pan with the tortillas on it under the broiler just long enough to melt the cheese. Remove from the broiler and then mix the below.
1/2 Cup Roasted Yellow Bell Peppers Chopped Fine.
1/2 Cup Roasted Green Bell Peppers Chopped Fine.
1/2 Cup Roasted Red Bell Peppers Chopped Fine.
1/2 Cup Fine Chopped Purple Sweet Onion
2 Tablespoons Lime Juice.
Toss and mix all together well and place a layer on top of the cheese. Now place a cooked and browned flour tortilla on top. Now you can cut each into 4 pieces and serve at once. On the table you will want a small chilled bowl of guacamole , sour cream , and salsa.Set each of your bowls of condiments in a larger bowl of crushed ice to keep everything nice and cool.
Really the person eating these will have to use a fork. These are truly the best Quesadilla Supremes you will ever make and eat. I have made them thousands of times over the years and people love them. Make them and let me know what you think about them.
