Quick and easy Chili

Updated on June 23, 2010

Good food fast

A quick and easy yet versatile dish

This is a quick and easy chili recipe that you can make in one pot.

The recipe is:

Brown 1 pound of ground beef or turkey in the bottom of a large pot.

Add salt, pepper, chili powder to taste. Drain excess juice from the meat.

Add 1 chopped onion and 1 chopped green pepper (optional)

Add 1 can of stewed tomatoes (I use chili flavored, or plain)

Add 2 cans of chili beans, kidney beans or pinto beans. (I usually use Bush's Best chili beans in mild sauce)  If you use plain beans, you may need to add more seasoning.

Warm all ingredients through. It's ready to serve.

Serving suggestions:

1. Mix with sharp cheddar cheese

2. Serve over rice

3. Serve over corn chips

1. Mix with corn

2. Mix with black beans

Or you can just eat it as it is! It tastes just as good reheated, maybe even better.

Sounds delicious. I am going to have to try this soon and get some chips to go with it. Thanks for sharing.
