Nutritious ragi porridge recipe for children

Ragi powder – 2 teaspoons

Milk – 50 ml

Sugar – 1 teaspoon

Cashewnut powder – ¼ teaspoon

Almond powder – ¼ teaspoon

Raisins – 2 (powdered)

Cardomom powder – a pinch

Cumin seed powder – 1 pinch

How to make this healthy infant cereal porridge

Prepare ragi powder by grinding ragi cereal. Boil milk and keep aside. Milk should be boiled for at least 10 minutes (for babies). Take little water in a tumbler (4 tablespoon) and stir the ragi powder well so that it gets dissolved without forming lumbs. Now boil 50 ml water in a pan. Pour the ragi paste to it. Cook for few minutes. Now pour the boiled milk to it. Now add the remaining ingriedients to it. This is to enhance taste and nutrition. Healthy ragi porridge for babies is ready.

Brown rice is the best rice for babies. Brown rice and roasted channa dal porriedge is a healthy cereal recipe for babies. Here I will share the recipe of this porridge

First I will explain how to prepare brown rice-roasted channa dal cereal mix

Fry 50 gram brown rice for few minutes in a pan (without oil, just fry for few minutes). Grind the brown rice. Take 50 gram of roasted channa dal. Grind roasted channa dal. Mix both powders (brown rice powder and roasted channa dal powder). This powder is used to prepare the cereal porridge

Brown Rice-Roasted Channa dal cereal powder (the above mentioned powder) – 2 teaspoons

Milk – 50 ml

Cashewnut powder – ¼ teaspoon

Almond powder – ¼ teaspoon

Raisins – 2 (powdered)


How to prepare this easy cereal porridge

Boil 50 ml of water in a pan and add 2 teaspoon of the above metioned cereal mix. Cook well. It should be cooked for 8-10 minutes in low flame. When it is cooked, add milk and the remaining ingriedients and cook again for 5 minutes. It would be better to boil milk separately and added to the cooked cereal. Brown rice and channa dal porridge for infants and babies is ready.
