Quick fix items are becoming such a way of life I just wanted to share my Ranch Hummus recipe with you.

Ranch Hummus

Have you ever had friends stop over but you really had nothing to serve, well it happen to me, I usally have food left around because a do alot of cooking and plus I work on my new recipes at home (nice and quite at home ), but I really did not have anything around because I was using up my ingredients getting ready to shop for more so this is what I did, I went hunting in my ice box and spice drawer looking for something to offer my guest.

So using these items I garbanzo beans, cottage cheese, yogurt, some dry ranch seasoning mix, lemon juice, olive oil and garlic,. Using these ingredients I made a very quick and easy Ranch Hummus dip that was very, very good so good that I want to share it with you and to top this off this dip is very kid friendly they will be licking the bowl.

Ranch Hummus Dip

1 15 ounce can of garbanzo beans ( rinsed and drained )

1 cup of fat free cottage cheese

1/4 cup of non fat yogurt

1 onuce package of dry ranch seasoning mix

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp chopped garlic

Combine all of these tasty ingredients in a food processor or blender. Puree until mixture is smooth andslightly fluffy, scrapping sides.

Transfer to storage container refrigeratw, covered for several hours or over night .

Then serve with some veggies, pita bread, or pita chips.

You will love this great tasy dip I really was suprise that it came out so good I added a pinch of salt and pepper on my dip that I put on my plate so enjoy this great tasting snack.
