Canning Cauliflower

Updated on February 10, 2018

Canning Cauliflower

Remove the cauliflower from the leaves.

Clean cauliflower completely and cut into flowerettes.

Rinse one more time and let dry.

Prepare a canning pot with boiling water. Add a teaspoon of salt  for purification and a teaspoon of lemon juice for coloring to the water.

Put dried cauliflower into boiling water just long enough to blanch and not cook through.

Scoop cauliflower from pot and pat dry.

Place flowerettes into a freezer bag and fill 3/4 full. Let the bags cool completely and then remove all air from bag and seal. Place the bag into the freezer.
