While this recipe doesn't take a lot of time to make, it was one that was reserved for those special occasions such as birthdays. It is also a recipe that would be good for those times when you need to bring a covered dish. This also goes well for outdoor cookouts as a side dish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb seasoned sausage
  • 1 lb. Linguini
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup milk
  • pinch organo and basil
  • ½ teaspoon sugar

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Cook your linquini as directed on package until tender. Spread out on pasta platter.

Cover with sauce.

Sauce:

Brown sausage. Drain grease on paper towels or brown paper. Wipe out excess grease from skillet. Place drained sausage into pan – add diced tomatoes and simmer – sprinkle seasonings and add milk and continue to simmer. Add sugar to cut acid.
