Restaurant Review – La Bamba Restaurant in Greensboro, North Carolina
La Bamba Mexican Restaurant is a small restaurant in Greensboro, North Carolina and La Bamba Mexican Restaurant is a restaurant with very reasonable prices. The La Bamba restaurant has a couple of locations in the city of Greensboro. The Mexican food at La Bamba was enjoyable. Ground beef is used in many of the dishes offered at La Bamba Mexican Restaurant.
At La Bamba Mexican restaurant, most food items that you order with beef in them are likely to contain pieces of ground beef not strips of beef steak for example. The La Bamba Mexican restaurant meals are very filling and you get a large quantity of food for the money that you spend at La Bamba.
The desserts are very enjoyable as well at La Bamba Mexican Restaurant. The fried ice cream and the tres leches cake (three milks) are examples of very enjoyable desserts offered at La Bamba Mexican Restaurant. I have enjoyed tres leches cake before and one of the great things about this type of cake is how moist it is. The chocolate drizzle on this version of the cake had a very strong and rich flavor. The chocolate sauce seemed to contain chocolate liquor.
We went to several Mexican restaurants recently and at most of them, if the favorite fried ice cream dessert was ordered, the ice cream had been rolled in corn flakes specifically to enhance that “fried ice cream” appearance. The individual dessert prices average at $4 and are presented in a beautiful way such as with artisanal chocolate sauce drizzles and confections. Some whipped creams can taste like they contain several artificial ingredients and can even give a chemical after taste but the whipped cream that was served with the desserts at La Bamba Mexican Restaurant tasted very wholesome and fresh. It was creamy and delicious, just an awesome taste.
The ambiance in the restaurant was calm with very dim lighting and interestingly, low black ceilings. We went there on a very rainy day as well.
One thing that is enjoyable about Mexican food here and at other restaurants is the fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Lime and sour cream are also great for eating with many Mexican dishes. The food tasted fresh and delicious.
