Restaurant Review for Brixx Wood Fired Pizza restaurant in Greensboro, North Carolina

BRIXX WOOD FIRED PIZZA

Brixx Wood Fired Pizza restaurant in Greensboro, North Carolina has a great atmosphere/ great ambiance and the employees are very helpful and polite if it is your first time visiting the restaurant and you want to listen to recommendations. For many of us, in order to frequent the restaurants, we need to hustle with our gift certificates, coupons and other discounts. You can even potentially use two discount promotions at the same time but review this with your restaurant server at a Brixx Wood Fired Pizza restaurant before you place your order and start spending lots of money.

On our recent trip to Brixx Wood Fired Pizza, we were delighted to find that we were allowed to use two promotions together. One was for $10 off of a $30 order, a valuable coupon that I had stumbled upon in our local newspaper, The Greensboro News and Record and the other was a $20 gift certificate that I had been able to purchase at a lower price when I pre-paid. Specifically, it had been a “Daily Deal” promotion also with The Greensboro News and Record newspaper. In this promotion that our family has truly enjoyed using, we were able to purchase twenty $20 gift certificates for assorted restaurants by paying just $100 as opposed to the standard $400 that twenty $20 gift certificates would cause. It has been a wonderful and economical gift to purchase for our own family truly and it has made our habit of sometimes going to restaurants after church on Sundays much less expensive. It is with these $20 gift certificates that our family has been going to many restaurants lately and there is an assortment. Each certificate is for a different restaurant. I have been enjoying writing my various restaurant reviews of these local restaurants featuring this “Daily Deal” and more restaurants as well on HubPages.

  1. After you sort out how much money you are going to spend and save and what you are going to order at Brixx Wood Fired Pizza restaurant, I think that you will be very happy with the presentation of the food to the table.
  2. Everything is piping hot and delicious. In fact, this is not one of the restaurants where leftovers keep very well in my opinion. It is best to eat the food as it is presented hot and fresh on the table instead of trying to take some home and save for later. Sometimes, the key to enjoying a good meal is really the temperature of the food and how it warms the stomach in that comforting way. In my experience, the leftovers eaten later on will not taste nearly as good as while you are seated in the restaurant. Some foods just do not re-heat in the most appetizing way if you attempt to re-heat them later.
  3. So, at this restaurant, Brixx Wood Fired Pizza, I would recommend that you order just enough food for you and the fellow diners at your table to enjoy in the moment, rather than saying “Oh, I am full. I will take the rest of the food home for later” because if you do the latter, you might be disappointed with how the food tastes later on.

Some examples of items that you can order as we did are the jerk chicken pizza that has the jerk flavoring in the sauce, the four meats pizza (10 inch pizzas), the hot meatball submarine sandwich that comes with your choice of side item. The selected side of pasta salad was very flavorful as it include penne pasta, rich cheese and olives among the various ingredients.

  • Black olives,
  • diced tomatoes,
  • pieces of mozzarella cheese,
  • roasted green peppers and red peppers,
  • and cilantro

are all examples of fresh items that added to the great flavors of the food at the restaurant.

At Brixx Pizza, this pizza dining experience will be unique

Keep in mind that this pizza dining experience will be unique, different from other types of pizza, especially if you already like and prefer your pizza to be a specific way such as New York Style pizza which is what I like the most.

  • While the ingredients on these Brixx Wood Fired pizzas are fresh and tasty, it can seem like having your pizza ingredients on a pita bread or other type of flat bread instead of a more traditional type of pizza crust.
  • If you are taking young kids to this restaurant, one caveat as well is to remember how finicky kids can be especially when they are used to a certain thing and not getting what they expect.
  • The kids might need to warm up to the concept of Brixx Wood Fired pizza a little bit if they are having it for the first time. You might hear them say things like “this is not the way that I like pizza to be” or “I don’t want this” or “I don’t eat this kind of pizza”. Parents, prepare to say “Eat your food”, if necessary. Then after the kids taste the food, they will probably enjoy it.

The Brixx Wood Fired Pizza restaurant also offers great dessert options such as cheesecake and a good separate kids menu if you choose to order from it, with coloring pages and crayons to entertain the kids.

With young kids, I don’t think I will ever be going to the restaurant at 11pm, but it is also good for you to note that if you are looking for a good deal, Brixx Wood Fired Pizza restaurant is also a restaurant that offers greater deals later in the evenings.

**********************************************************************************************

At Brixx Wood Fired Pizza, appetizers and wood fired pizzas become BOGO (buy one get one free) at the latest hours, near closing time so that food does not go to waste as much. I have been introduced to many types of restaurants that offer similar kinds of deals and this is worth mentioning to you for this restaurant in particular.

If you choose to go, then enjoy your visit to Brixx Wood Fired Pizza restaurant!
