Yields: 1/2 l of sauce

  • 3 Tomatoes, riped
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 15 grams Almonds, toasted
  • 15 grams Hazelnuts, toasted
  • 1 Slice of bread, toasted
  • 250 ml Olive oil

  1. First we must rehydrate the chilli. To do this, we soak the chilli for 4 or 5 hours. Once thoroughly soaked, we took the seeds of chilli and reserve.
  2. The second step is to roast tomato and garlic. Preheat oven to 200 ° C and put the tomatoes and garlic (peeled) on separate trays. The tomatoes are roasted in about 15 or 20 minutes. Garlic will take slightly longer.
  3. Once roasted, peel the tomatoes and took one to one the garlic cloves. Also peel almonds and toasted hazelnuts. We toast a slice of bread.
  4. Finally, put all the ingredients in a blender vessel: olive oil, vinegar, salt, the garlic cloves, chilli, toasted almonds and hazelnuts, toasted bread slice and beat vigorously. Add a teaspoon of sweet red pepper.
