Did you know that the eggplant is really a fruit, yes it is considered a fruit due to the fact it has seeds inside it as do the tomato. Just as there are a variety of salad greens, there are just as many eggplants.

Upon it's first arrival to America the eggplant was shaped more like a hens egg, hence the name origin.

Long ago they were also considered to be dangerous because they belong to the nightshade family (Solanaceae.) But it has other edibles in it like the tomatoes.

Eggplants are put into four basic groups to classify them:

A. Western or globe - the Black Beauty and the Florida High Bush fall into this

category. Each have large purple fruit that can weigh up to one or two pounds

and is tolerant to lack of water.

B.Elongated or cylindrical - this groups eggplants can be pale green to pure

white to almost black. The Gretel, Thai Green, and Little Fingers fall into this

C,Round or egg-shaped - the eggplants in this category will come in a variety of

colors but will be round or oval. The Applegreen, Rosa Bianca and the Lao

Purple Stripe cover this category. The Lao Purple is best when eaten small.

D.Tear drops - brightly colored and with stripes it has been a staple in Italian cook.

The species in this group include udumalpet, a heavy producer from India

and the Listada de Gandia.

Eggplant has become very poplar now days. It is an ingredient in many dishes around the world baba ganoush, eggplant parmigiana, moussaka.

It is called by many names by many people. Brown Jolly in the West Indies, Garden Egg by the West Africans, and Egg Fruit by the Australians.

The eggplant also grow a pretty flower.

I haven't eaten much eggplant in my life, but the few times I did try it I loved it. Now that I have more information on it and you know how I like to try new things- so this is my new tester in the kitchen. I'm not sure how the grand children will like the dishes but we'll see. Usually if i like something they will at least give it a try. Wish me luck! !

I'm one of a few admins on a site and we each have mtupille computers, locations, and browsers we use. From what I can tell, your solution seems like it'll take care of all of that by just inserting your code problem is, where how/ does one use it?Obviously, I'm completely clueless on coding, I'm just a blogger who is tired of seeing 2/3 of our hits come from the admins (not to mention how much that's skewing the other results- notably time on site and bounce rate).Thank you for your help.
