Sassy Chicken Noodle Soup
The easiest chicken noodle soup recipe you'll find
I call this one sassy, because it tastes like it is gourmet, when it is one of the simplest recipes I have on file. In fact, I just finished a bowl of a fresh batch made this afternoon, which is why it is my first entry. Plus, the recipe allows room for an individual to add their own flare to their batch.
What goes in it?
It is quite simple really. First, you'll need:
32oz Chicken Broth (2 containers)
2 C water
12oz Amish Egg Noodles
12oz Canned Chicken (2 cans - drained)
12oz Frozen Mixed Vegetables
Salt
Pepper
Seasoning of Choice (I used Italian Seasoning)
How to prepare Sassy Chicken Noodle Soup
In a large pot, combine water and broth. Add salt, pepper, and seasoning to taste. Be careful not to over salt or season, as it can impede the flavor. Bring to a boil, then add noodles. Cook according to package. Add in chicken and frozen vegetables and simmer over medium-low heat for 15 to 20 minutes. Great with homemade rolls or bread.
Don't over salt or season, as this will impede the flavor.
