Shopping at Supermarkets

Updated on February 25, 2015

Read Your Labels

Supermarkets are money makers, their layouts in stores encourage shoppers to buy a lot of unwanted merchandises . Supermarkets are displayed to entice Customers to spend more money.

The first thing a customer should do is go the isles with the freshest and healthiest food items. Some isles of supermarket carry processed high-sugar and high fat items, these products look good but are not always healthy. At the end of some isles there are displays encouraging customers about the two for one saving, buy one get one free. Expensive, low-nutrients, are put on displays to catch the eyes of all shoppers, because of beautiful labels and advertisements..

Most shopper don't read labels, if it looks good we buy. At the cashiers all types of candies sat on displays catching the eye-sight of the customers, in a split second we pick one up and place it on the counter.

Shoppers must avoid gimmicks that stores offer enticing customer to buy, always us coupons to save money. Never buy food that looks spoil to save money; it could cause food poisoning. Always make a list knowing what you want before you go in, never buy food because the label looks good.

The longer customers are inside a supermarket , he or she will come out with something they don't need.

Always read about what you and your families are consuming.
