Simple Dump Peach Cake by Debbie Lacy

Updated on January 28, 2012

This recipe is very simple. It's a quick way to whip a snack to satisfy that sweet tooth.

All you need is as follows:

1 - 29 oz Can of Peaches Slices

1 - Box of Duncan Hines Deluxe Butter Cake Mix

1 stick of Butter or 4 Tablespoons of Margarine (melted)

Cinnamon

Nutmeg

Sugar

Preparations:

Pour peaches into a 1-qt. casserole dish unless you are serving more people then you'll need a 2 qt. dish~2 cans of peaches and 2 boxes of cake mix

Lightly sprinkle a little nutmeg and cinnamon on top of peaches for taste

Add about 1/4 cup sugar or per taste (optional) The cake mix is already sweet

Pour Cake Mix over peaches - make sure the mix covers all the peaches

Add melted butter on top

Take a knife and mix the cake mix into the peach juice - just a little

Then bake for 50 minutes or until brown on top

1 qt feeds 4 to 6 people

2 qt feeds 8 to 10 people

And that's it! Peach Dump Cake ~ Add your favorite Cool Whip topping

Peach Cobbler without the Pie Crust.

I like this recipe, it reminds me of my favorite pineapple upside down cake.I guess with this recipe you can substitute the peaches with any firm fruit.Sounds like a must try....thx 4 share
